A Lot of Concrete? I recently went to Buenos Aires with high expectations, which were successfully filled. I was told that there were many buildings, a city very city, lost horizon between buildings, avenues and, again, a lot of concrete.

However, it is a beautiful city with friendly people, beautiful places and beautiful parks. It has a great artistic and musical proposal; a very good option to visit in the South of South America.

I give you these two photographs I took while I was there, they are not a touristic view of the city, rather they are the product of the photographs that were dancing in my mind.

Similitude between images. Since some time ago I always carry my camera with me, I try to keep for me the things that I am interested in. Sometimes I realize that some of the pictures that I make, has some similarities and that I am interested in lines, grays scale and textures.

Apparently we take the photo that we are interested in, based in some personal interest that we got to discover.

Teatro Nacional, Caracas. 1910.

Teatro Nacional, Caracas. 1910.

The Caracas National Theatre is one of those works that made you feel pride and now we feel it again. It was closed and stuck in the past but few months ago it was re-opened. I took those three pictures during an assignment and I’m sharing them with you. The National Theatre is the ideal place to forget, in two hours, the chaos and the violence from Caracas city.
